Short/mid length hair

My hairs usually shoulder length or just below but I've growing it for a while now for the wedding. I've seen lots of lovely shorter styles, soft up styles with nice clasps and things..if you put in pinterest short bridal hair styles theres a lot that come up that are nice I also seen a hairdresser I liked on fb put up a pic the other day of a nice up do and said the BM's hair was short and she had "secret padding" underneath, it looked like it was really long

My hair is about this length. My friend is my hairdresser and I have had up dos even when my hair was just under the chin. I was going to stick with my bob for the wedding but have grown it. had one trial ages ago and she pinned it over to the side, i couldnt get over how much hair it made me look like i have, its longer still now so might get her to do this when I am in on saturday - know what you mean though bridal magazines are all full ove long haired brides!

An up do is possible but I don't think it looks too good really unless you add a fake hairpiece. Have you searched for short hair bride or something like that on pintrest?

I'm in the same boat, mines a little shorter since my trim and all the bridal hair stuff i see is even for super short hair or uber long hair. no middle ground. an updo is a no-no for me, it'll irritate me and they don't appeal to me so I'm stuck. gonna watch this thread for ideas!

My BM sent me screenshots of an instagram page called hairpost, some lovely inspiration on there it seems havent looked at it in great detail.have you asked your hairdresser advice?
