Should i be stressing more!

katie80uk, 15 April, 2014 at 11:21 Posted on Planning 0 7

I get married at the start of October and just feel that i am not stressing enough about my wedding lol

I have most things organised and booked...venue hire, reception room booked, decorating of rooms, DJ, catering, wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, flowers, photographer, stationery, hair, makeup and nails, invites ready to go out so all printed. i dont meet with my venue till June to sort out the exact details of my room so im kinda thinking i am really missing something or am i just ultra organised and can sit back and relax till the invites start coming back

    Hello fellow October bride!!

I am a stresshead, so I can't help. I have sorted venue, photographer, decoration, DJ (still have to give him song ideas), given notice, designed and ordered invites, wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses tried on but not ordered..... the list goes on. I am still stressed though!! Everyday, I think of something else to do.

H2B got me to write a list of everything we need to do and he has stuck it to our bedroom wall. I add stuff to it and tick stuff off when it's done. It keeps me calmer because I can see what is left to do, and it helps him because he is so laid back, and it's a constant reminder of the fact there is still lots to do!

No absolutely not! Not stressing is by far the healthiest option, and it sounds like you are very on top of things. Sit back and relax, enjoy the nice weather. ?

I had 18 months to plan our wedding and managed not to stress about any of the planning as I was super organised. It sounds as though you're very on top of things so just enjoy being stress-free!

    Hi,

It sounds like you are super organised and have the right to be stress free for your Wedding. You have time to just relax and think about your honeymoon. If you are worried you may have missed something I would recommend writing a list with your family to ensure everything is in progress. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

We wish you all the luck for your wedding planning and we wish you the most amazing wedding.

I get married in just over 5 months and until two days ago I was completely unstressed and totally unflappable - I was completely priding myself on it! Then OH's suit arrived and suddenly I turned into a major stresshead - did it clash with the bridesmaids dress? What did we do about waistcoats? Are the shoes going to work or do they need to be toned down?

Lol, it will come and then it will go away again - at least I hope so ?

    Thanks everyone ?

I am not stressing about the grooms stuff, thats up to him to sort it all out. I think if i sort all the other stuff, he just needs to sort the blokes stuff....at the moment i trust him but we will see what happens in the coming months lol
