Side hair do's anyone? Pleeeease flash me!

Hey lovely hitchers,

I am heading 200 miles north tomorrow to go home to spend a week of wedding organising! Yay! My sample dress is at my mum's so I'll have a week of fittings as well as seeing the caterers, cars, bar people etc. On Tuesday I have my hair trial which is costing me the same as my hair on the day (£51!!!) Not cheap but there are limited options for good hairdressers on small islands. I want to put together a montage over the course of today that I can print off before I leave and take with me. I have mid back length hair and am hoping for a side bun but something quite vintage and not too tight/slick.

Anyone looking at something similar and care to flash???? Pleeeeeease!!!!! ?

    Ive never flashed before so forgive me if this goes wrong, I want something a bit like this, probably a bit neater

    but everyone tells me that plaits arent bridal enough ☹️

    Why aren't plaits bridal?! what about having a string of diamanté or crystals plaited through? Bet that would look good and I'm just now considering it!

    Well I agree! I love plaits and think they look lovely but most people I have shown this too dont agree. I might just do it anyway, I like it and I will make it bridal, being the bride and all... Loving the diamante idea too!

    I was flicking through a friend's wedding magazine the other day (i have to do something to entertain me on night shifts!) and it said that plaits are the newest trend for wedding hair so ignore whoever tells you they aren't bridal!! And that style is lovely, if my hair wasn't so fly-away and rubbish that's probably the kind of thing i would go for ?

    I luv this style, its great! Im also looking for a plait hairstyle. I do an inside out sort of french plait in the front of my hair hair line and always get ppl commenting on it! I think that this pic/plait is def a great wedding style, and inkeeping with your vintage theme!
