Signed photo guest book thingys!

WeddingPrincess, 12 August, 2009 at 09:39 Posted on Planning 0 7

I thought some people might want to get away from the drama of PrincessJen and maybe help with my latest wedding query.....

I am thinking about having one of the above mentioned picture things for my guests to sign. I have seen a couple of examples on t'internet where there is a photograph of the happy couple in the centre of an easel like board and guests can write messages around said pic.

These may be pretty standard but I have also seen some where they are some sort of metal and guests use a special pen to inscribe. Has anyone had one of these/ are thinking of having one and if so where did you get it from and can I be mega cheeky and as for a guideline price.

We are having an engagement photo shoot with tog about 3 weeks before the wedding so I am hoping to use a pic from this (Ooh la la I loved yours btw!)

Thoughts please

x

We had ones of these - we used an engagement shoot photo and had a local framer cut the border out and frame it for us.

Can't give you an exact price as he did that, the table plan, and will be doing some wall pics for us so is all one price.

BUT - he has cut just the border for us for another pic before and it was only a couple of £ - if you buy your own frame from somewhere instead of having it made it will be cheaper, maybe £15 max - and you get exactly the frame and size you want.

Thanks Laura Lee - will definitely look into getin our own frame. Will probably also ask our tog if he has ever done them or knows where we can get one but am liking the sound of a DIY one...so much more personal too!
