I was maid of honour at a wedding where apart from the church everything was silk flowers. They looked really beautiful and I still have my bouquet.

In fact my parents have been married 25 years and my mum still has their silk top table decoration x

I have silk flowers for my bouquet and they look absolutely beautiful. I bought them as separate stems though, and a florist friend has made them up for me. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I got to choose exactly what was in the bouquet.

    Sorry don't have a flash.

Go to a florists. They almost all will have examples. I know it's morbid but ones that are near to cemetries tend to specialise in Silk flowers and sometimes have gorgeous examples of what they could do wedding wise.

We're having fresh flowers in church and everything else silk as we live almost two hours from the wedding venue so it's just one thing I can organise miles in advance x

Some of the ones i like on ebay are from a business seller -The essexweddingflower - if anybody has heard of them..

was thinking about just having silk bouquet for me, a posy for my MOH and BM, wrist corsages for my little BM's and then buttonholes for the guys...

We aren't spending on real flowers at all - using ones from the garden and lots of lavender and fresh corn.
