Silk Flowers

2 August, 2011 at 23:06 Posted on Planning 0 12

Hi,

Am looking for some recommendations for websites that do silk flowers, most of the ones I've seen so far are just roses and ideally what I would like is a real mix of different flowers including roses and peonies, maybe sweet peas, but so far I really can't find what I'm looking for.

Many thanks!

I've been having a look on Folksy for alternatives to fresh flowers (handmade\homemade stuff) - some great stuff on there.

    http://www.folksy.com/items/1409193

Might be worth having a browse and some might even make to requests.

    Hope that helps. xx

I've done quite a few with sweetpeas and also did this one for another Hitcher with peonies. Peonies come in a range of colours, as do the sweetpeas, and both are extremely realistic.

Thanks for the mention Agentblackcat too Smiley smile

Brenda you beat me too it!

these were my beautiful flowers by the wonderful Rainbow florist who I would thoroughly recommend! guests are still suprised when they walk into my lounge and see my floweres as they had no idea they were artifical!

she also prduced my bridesmaids floweres, mum's corsages and the boys buttone holes. here is a pic of most of them in action!

Sorry for late reply but just been to the garage to try and sort my air con out - packed in of all days today - 1000 degrees here and no sun Smiley winking

Now I digress... I can get roses which are similar to David Austin in artificial - classed as an English country garden rose. I can also get ivory peonies and sweetpeas and gyp. Waxflower is also availalable in ivory which is the limey green flower in the photos above which looks lovely with peonies and also the trachellium which is the purple fluffy flower is available in ivory too.

If you would like my details, just let me know (email below) and I'll pop everything in the post for you.

Fail #1 - Dragging up an old thread

Fail #2 - Using the web address as your username

Gah - no effort made by spammers anymore! ?
