Silly insurance question

onedaybride, 9 August, 2010 at 13:04 Posted on Planning 0

You don't have to be in employment to take out wedding insurance do you?

I thought it didn't matter, for example if you need to claim regarding redundancy that would be possible in line with their policy (as stated) and depending how far in advance your wedding is and your personal circumstances, you could easily go through more than 1 job (long gone are the days of a "job for life").

Anyway, just wanted to check that I'm not wrong!

No you don't need to be employed. Obviously if you're not, you won't be claiming the redundancy part, but there are lots of other reasons you might need to claim. It's not a silly question either!
