Silly things you can't touch...

I have presently got a crocheted throw in my washing machine off my daughters chair in her room, even with rubber gloves on I can't take it out, the thought of touching wet wool fills me with dread. What can't you touch?

Ditto brillo pads and i cant bear to find a hair on my hand or arm when i've got wet hands. I cant even pull my own hairs out of the bottom of the shower and when i wash my hair and put conditioner in, I heave when loose hairs come out and are on my fingers.

I can't touch velvet and I remember being little and my mum making me wear a velvet dress and I hated it because I couldn't bear the feel of it. I also can't touch the top of my left foot due to having a cyst removed last year and it being numb now.

    I'm another cotton wool hater.

I had to have special notes written in my maternity notes for when I went into labour saying that I couldn't have it near me or the baby. Oh, and the phlebotomist at the surgery knows to use gauze instead too now after I freaked out at her when she tried to attach CW to me.

My fingers and toes are curling, and teeth are clenching at just the thought of it.

All of mine have already been said but I can't stand cotton wool (ahh, making snowman cards at christmas is a nightmare!!), hate polystyrene - which is horrible when you get a reall nice gift but can't touch it cos its wrapped in horrible squeaky stuff! Also hate the silver foil near my teeth!

Cotton wool or wet wool. The idea of someone chewing wool and it squeaking makes my teeth go funny.

Banana! I can't stand the smell, taste or touch of it! It really makes me gag.

I also can't stand it when you're eating an ice lolly and you accidentally bite on the stick, eugh!

Similar to many: slugs, polystyrene (esp the little ovals pieces you get as packing material in parcels), raw liver, nails on blackboards, turning wet socks the right way out.

The thought of biting into a towel sets me off.

My sister is completely creeped out and can't touch cotton wool or velvet.

I could not ever consider touching an earth-worm.

Dish cloths/sponges/towels/anything that has been used to wash/dry dishes.

Swimming pool floors, especially when you accidentally step on a vent/grate.

Everyone used to tell me I was wierd for hating to touch suede...glad I am not alone.

trouble is I love the look of suede boots, but have to go without as I could never put them on.

I also loathe polystyrene especially when it has been broken up, and raw meat (but I am a veggie!)
