Singer for a Church service

esser1, 26 September, 2009 at 16:06 Posted on Planning 0 2

We ahve a choir singing in the church but I love the song .. songbird by Eva Cassidy... and would really like it included in the church service. There is a lovely Alevel student at my school who is a wonderful singer whom lots of pople have suggested - but would like to really avoid that if possible. Any ideas? and can you really hire someone just for the service?

    Absolutely!

I played for singer Amy Webber for the first time a fortnight ago and she was excellent - studies in Manchester but lives in Oxford ... can be contacted via the Royal Northern College of Music.

    Hope this helps!

My mum has arranged for a couple of local singers to sing in the church and apparently this isn't the first service they have sung at so I think its becoming more common.

They are going to provide a bit of entertainment after the meal too before we get kicked out at 8 and gatecrash the towns fireworks. ?
