Site.....er.... enhancements!

Just so you know, as per Deans posts over the last day or so, last night we ran a very big site upgrade on hitched. As always, we thoroughly tested the upgrade prior to going live however we are experiencing some quirky issues this morning. But we are onto them!

Please post any issues you are having below and we will continually update you as to what we are working on and the status of those issues.

Sorry for any problems. Hope it will all be very stable again soon.

When I read a thread, it remains bold on the front page.

Not a major issue but a slight irritant as cannot tell which threads I have read or have had new posts.

My post from the profile thread:

"Posting has gone back to zero for some, and their email addresses are showing up instead of their usernames. Bit of a privacy issue there really Hitched! Thank goodness it's not mine, as my email address has my full name in it!"

How strange! They've always been bold for me, regardless of whether I have read them. I'd quite like read threads not be bold though!

Trickers profile is showing her email address rather than her username and a post count of 0 - she's already emailed someone at Hitched this morning to ask for her post to be removed because of this though so don't know if it's already logged? She doesn't want to post this because it will show up her email address.

Not as major as some people are reporting, but my post count has been reset (don't care about that) and I have gone back to being FutureMrsJ when I should be FinallyMrsJ (was changed recently). Plus my photo's disappeared, but I can sort that on my own.

ETA: when I edit my profile, it still says "FinallyMrsJ", but for some reason I show up on the forums as a Future?

I'm seeing quite a lot of users names showing as their email addresses - where this is happening, they appear to have a reset post count.

That's what's happened to me Blonde Vicki! I had over 13000 posts, and have been a member on here since 2002!!! Gutted!

Quick update:

Sorry to those affected.

We are working on fixing the profiles that are showing email addresses as the top priority. We think that any records where the user had changed their email address in the past meant the conversion process go confused. It created records for the old and new email addresses. It didn't know what the username was and so defaulted it to the email We haven't lost any posts, we are just trying to work out how best to relink these records.

Once we've sorted that one we can tidy up any missing post counts/username changes etc

HELP! I cant log in to H - when I go on and go to the login section it comes up with 500 - Internal Server Error and I can't re-register as it says my email addy already exists! Can someone post on the Enhancements sticky for me saying I cant get on? User name Toniwise. Thanks ladies

Can you help with the above?
