Sizing of Converse shoes

Am about to buy a pair of Converse but can be a 3, 3.5 or a 4 depending on the shoe, can anyone tell me if they come up big/small, narrow/wide, etc?

    Converse always come up on the narrow side. I'm a petite 4 anyway so they fit me perfectly and are the most comfortable shoes I own.

    I want a white/cream pair, have seen the minimal ones but they only seem to do them for blokes. Pfft.

    Ooo, disagree. I'm a 7 normally but wear a 6 in Converse. I ❤️ my Converse. Have three pairs and am hankering after more, but as I just bought these this morning, I don't think H would let me!

    Then you have strange feet 😄

    They are notoriously narrow. I worked in Office for a couple of years and their own reps considered them to be. They're one of the few shoes, albeit rare to find, still available in half sizes.
