Skin issues

Can you recommend me your skin care routine?

Since I have been ill my skin has gradually got worse. I have developed acne and ingrowing neck/chin hairs (which I know is due to me having to stop taking my hormone tablets for PCOS). I do not have the patience to do anything that takes more than 30 minutes daily and would prefer it if it was products I could use in the bedroom as I cannot stand for long and my bathroom does not have a seat. I can almost cope with the chin and neck but I am now developing spots in weird and wonderful places (my boobs, my tummy, my waist where my jeans button, bottom of back/top of bum and cheeks on my face).

I cannot drink more water as I already drink loads, my diet is fine and I can't take any vits & minerals.

Can you recommend anything? I am almost certain it is due to the cocktail of drugs I am on and will mention it to my consultant in a couple of weeks.

Sorry, don't have anything to offer but good luck in getting it sorted, sounds really difficult to deal with.

I don't have acne but have always had problem skin. My bad parts are my nose, chin and chest. On my chin I have a particular problem with whiteheads and blemishes caused by ingrowing hairs.

For the last year i've used Boots' own microdermabrasion kit. I use it 2-3 times weekly and its really made a difference to my skin. Over time i've found the deep rooted lumps and bumps have gone. I still have problems, but it has been an improvement.

A consultation with a beauty therapist might also be worthwhile.
