Skincare

Katmandoodle, 21 August, 2011 at 13:08 Posted on Planning 0 3

I am getting married in 12 months and am in desperate need to sort my skin out. I have always suffered with spots on my face and have tried all sorts from over the counter products to prescribed creams and tablets - any solutions which anyone has tried and succeeded?

I went to my GP and was put onto Dianette- it cleared up y skin no end- now I only get the occasional spot as opposed to the acne patches I had before.

I also only use good skincare products and foundation- used cheapy own brando stuff for years and Im pretty sure it was part of the issues too.

If you've tried over the counter and prescription then all i can think is keep up a good skin care regime. Lots of fruit, veg and water, regular cleansing, toning and moisturising. Does being in the sun make a difference? My cousin's skin cleared up beautifully when she used the sun beds (not that i personally would recommend using sun beds, just anecdotal evidence)

I'd rather have spots than skin cancer. Seriously, like someone said above a good diet with plenty of water will sort your skin out.
