Slightly concerned about my veil

Hi All ? 5 weeks tomorrow!?

I am having a small sense of being quite concerned at the moment.

A friend of a friend is making my veil and although I do trust her, she told me it would be finished last week for my hair trial. It wasnt she called me and said that she wasnt happy with a section of it so had taken the edging off and was doing it again.

She said that she just wants to make sure that it is 100% perfect for me, which I do appreciate. She also has some health problems so I hate texting her all the time to see how she is getting on.

But this last week whilst making my last minute to do list, I am starting to get concerned that it isnt going to be finished in time. I know I am probably being slightly paranoid but I cant help it as i dont have a back up plan if something goes wrong.☹️

She sent me a picture message of it and it looks lovely from what I can see but I havent seen it in the flesh.

With 5 weeks to go you still have plenty of time - my mum made mine the week before my wedding - it will be finished don't panic and it will look lovely x

I think you should take a deep breath and not worry too much.

Why don't you text her and just say that you are really excited as it looks lovely and just want to check when you can pick it up as you are putting together a list of things to do in the final weeks? That's nice and friendly and not being hassling.

Yeah thats true. I was looking at my list and i think if I give her until 2 weeks before the wedding then I probably still have time to get another one if worst comes to worst.

I'm sure your friend has it all under control and there wont be anything to worry about.

I just wanted to put your mind at rest and to let you know that I actually make wedding veils and have made many for brides on both the Hitched and Confetti sites so if you do have any last minute problems then please just contact me and Im sure I will be able to help you out at short notice.
