Slightly O/T - False Lashes For The BIG Day...

Mrs Poon, 28 June, 2011 at 20:58 Posted on Planning 0 7

Can anyone suggest a good pair of falsies that I can wear on my wedding day please.

I normally wear mascara (sp) but want nice long tidy natural looking lashes for my big day.

Thanx

If you want strip lashes, Eyelure are really good. I find their glue lasts the longest. If you want something more permanent, I'd recommend Jinnylashes or Nouveau lashes.

Thanx Spangles. Payday tomorrow so will pop into my local Boots and invest in a pair of Eyelure as no doubt I will need a bit of practice putting them on x

Best way to do them is to flex/ bend them first to make them more pliable. Then cut them to size. Put some glue on a surface/ your hand allow to go slightly tacky. Swipe your eyelashes through the glue then apply using tweezers. Also helps to look down into a mirror.

I'm going to have lash extensions - about £25 and they last 2 weeks. so once there done I can not worry about them.

These ones are the wahanda ones -

If you're near a counter (they have one in Selfridges) I'd recommend Shu Uemura. They put them in for free once you buy them. Also had a great set from MAC a month or two ago but sometimes use more cheapy ones too; it depends what kind of style you want!
