Small intimate wedding on a budget

Hello everyone, i'm new to this site, only just joined.

We're wanting to get married next year on Valentines Day, we want a very small wedding with jus two witnesses and our three children present, but we are also on a budget, i'd say probably only £1000-£2000.

Can anyone recommend anywhere that is truly beautiful. We're from Suffolk but don't mind travelling.

Have you researched registry offices as some can be quite pretty then you could all go to a nice pub or restaurant or something after?

Any prefrence to city/countryside/seaside/riverside?

This. Our RO is a Grade II listed building and is lovely. Ours is in Halifax but I know of others in Bolton etc that are beautiful and nothing like I had thought of when thinking of a RO (I was thinking concrete 1970's buildings in the centre of town)
