What is this smooch, is it like a jeweller that comes to your home? Where did u get details, do they charge also? So many questions! I need a wedding ring making to fit my engagement ring x

I also need a shaped WR to fit my ER so I'm hoping they can come up with something not too expensive.

They come to your home & they don't charge for the appointment, Laura is a rep on here, you can do a thread for her attention, she always replies!

We were told 6 weeks for ours.. We ordered them a few weeks back

Im getting my ring shaped from smooch. We are getting married 11 June. I have to send in my engagement ring mid march, they will send it back in 2 weeks then the rings take around 4 weeks.

We had our appointment last friday and ordered rings.

Lesley who came to us was lovely and I can't wait to get the rings!!

We've got our appointment tonight!! I can't wait either. I'm hoping they have something to fit my ER it is not an unusual shape but I need a different shape to a plain straight band.

Les has been very helpful and comms have been great so far the service has been great. I might be back on here tomorrow telling you we've ordered!!

Shelley74shelley - Appointments are totally free and no obligation. We are extremely busy at the moment, but can sometimes push orders through a bit quicker, but you are usually looking at 4-6 weeks. If you'd like to make an appointment, your best bet is probably to call the Customer Service line on **** and speak to someone there. They can then make sure you get an appointment as soon as possible. We obviously don't want to rush you into a decision, so if you'd like a bit of time to think about it, the sooner you have an appointment the better!

Just yell if you'd like any other information ?

Not that i have any problem with Smooch but just thought I'd mention that my H2B and I went with Bliss Rings. They offer pretty much the same thing as Smooch do and they are realy flexible for those who would rather opt for a payment plan rather than paying for both rings all in one go...

The lady was absolutely lovely and we were there for ages trying on rings. I have had mine made to fit around my ER and OH went for something totally different, 8mm wide, 2mm thick, court shaped Palladium ring with a single set square diamond and a sandstone finish...sounds strange but he never would have gone for anything like that without seeing a sandstone finish ring up close. He loved it!

My ring is coming in the next few weeks and H2B's when we've finished paying it off in June.

They come highly reccommended from me!

Our rings from smooch are due on saturday. The man who came to our house was fab. Just hoping the rings are as good as the service has been so far!!

Ok we've had our appointment now and we've ordered our rings!!

Sorry for the huge pics. His is on the left and mine is on the right. He wanted this style without the diamond on a different (more comfortable band) and Les our rep said no problem at all. Service has been great and now I can't wait to see them!!

Hi All, we just had our appointment with Smooch...what can i say, Jan the rep was absolutely lovely, very honest & we felt very at ease!

We found 2 very beautiful rings, there are a lot to choose from!

It was harder for me as i thought i would need one made to fit my ER but the ring i found went perfectly!

The only problem is the price...bit too much over our budget I'm not saying Smooch are expensive because we haven't looked anywhere else to compare but with the prices being what they were unfortunately we could not commit tonite

Think we are going to look at the Birmingham jewellery quarter before we decide but would def recommend Smooch as we've learnt a lot and now know what rings we are looking for!

I am also a bit worried with the price, although i havnt had an appointment or spoken to anyone when i looked on there website i couldnt really understand the price chart. My partner is very unsure of the whole set up, someone coming into our house and because of how nice the smooch member is we are likely to just order then have wobbles. i have noticed alot of people on here having appointments and then actually ordering them there and then, without sounding to nosey can anyone tell me how much they are paying for their wedding rings, and a flash if thats ok?!

There is really no pressure; we chose our favourite, got the prices & the rep wrote it all down, you then deal with customer services if you decide to order, we felt no pressure at all so have time to think about things & look around.

Their is a standard price for each plain band, depending on size & metal, i.e a mans 5mm palladium band is £420 - any extra's for example ring shaping, diamonds or engraving then gets added on top.

We were quoted £420 for the ring as per above and then mine was £620 as I had diamonds too.

I think our budget was a little unrealistic but then without looking any rings previously we had no idea what cthe ost of rings are like!
