I haven't been around much of late as things have been rather busy at work, etc and all things wedding related had to be put on the back burner whilst mild panic set in over not continuing with my obsessive wedding planning.
We were supposed to be going over to the Isle of Wight tonight for the weekend to visit my family and also squeeze in all manner of things wedding related, including meeting with our photographer, visiting the florist and popping into the shop who are supplying all of our "Finishing Touches" (also aptly their name!) to see if there's anything else we can utilise them for . . . well thanks to the bloomin' snow our trip has had to be cancelled :o( I am most upset as I was looking forward to getting a chunk of wedding related stuff sorted and now it's going to have to be pushed back until next year when we're already getting uber busy and booked up with other wedding related gubbins. I was trying to spread everything out so I don't go into major stressy meltdown, so am feeling just a little bit sorry for myself, plus I was looking forward to seeing my folks and moggies.
However, as I've had a Snow Day today as my car is imovable on it's current sheet of ice and therefore I couldn't get to work, I have managed to sort out something towards the wedding - I've just booked our DJ! YAY! ? They're a family run business with no hidden costs and sound perfect, so I'm feeling a little bit better.
I've also got my mum on the case of finding me a fabulous hair and make-up person, so hopefully that'll be sorted soon too. Then dress shopping with my best friend and BM in January, I'm making a bee-line for a dress I've fallen in love with, just hope it does end up being "the one"!
