so - decision made

Flowery the Grouch, 17 September, 2008 at 12:10 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 8

We are staying here at least until March, possibly longer. The initial plan for one year has turned into two, though hopefully not much more than that.

It is easier knowing, rather than not, but I'm still not sure I am happy about it.

I'm not really job hunting to be honest. I check a few websites each day, but I'm not busting a gut ?

I start a fun OU course next month, and then my last masters module in Jan, so should have enough to keep me busy.

Ooh, the fiction writing sounds fun - are you going to be the next JK Rowling?

I started a degree course with the OU - completed the first year (was a diploma course in it's own right) but then I felt they let me down and I didn't sign up for the second year. I'll probably get around to it one of these days.

I'm quite glad that i can finish my course without having to worry about work. The year i id when working full time was so much harder. And if i get my arse in gear i should be able to get ahead with the course, so if we move home during that year (which we hopefully will) it shouldn't be too much of a disruption.

At least the decision is made, and you can now start to plan around it. Enjoy the time while you can, and do as many courses as you can fit in to keep busy.
