I have hit a brick wall with planning! Theres still loads to do but it just doesnt need doing yet! Its frustrating me MASSIVELY! I just want to get things done but carnt yet.

I also need to make decisions about all the little things (that will set the theme of the wedding!) I really dont have a clue what direction to go in. I havent really got a vision of my day that says to me it going to be country vintage ect. But i know these little details are important. I need help!!!!!

Sorry for the rant hitchers

You could always just try goggling pictures of wedding decorations, and see if you get some inspiration?

Or if you have a colour you like just look up pictures of that, ie 'Dusky pink weddings' etc,

Do you or your OH have any hobbies that you could incorporate into the wedding?

Curley don't fret... your ticker shows 6 months to go...

I promise you in a few more weeks you will be screaming SLOW DOWN!! haha!!

The 6 month countdown just disappears I promise, I had xmas which helped too i guess.

Once we hit new year my things to do list included sending out invites, dress fitting, booking alterations, booking make up trial, start making table names as rsvps come in, choose wording and ceremony music, decide on favour, buy underwear, book boudoir shoot, diet and exercise, book hair appointments,

STOP drinking the wine we bought for the wedding!!!

See it all piles up (and everyone was calling me organised!!)

    Hi ladies!

Curley when do you get married?

Have either of you tried Pinterest? It's like an electronic scrapbook/moodboard. Just google it and get an account. THere's an app too for phones and tablets. My friend who got married a couple of years ago told me about it and its brilliant! I was having the same problem of not knowing whether to go with rustic or shabby chic, bright or pastel, neutral bridesmaids or bright dresses for them! There's so much on there about weddings you can just type "vintage wedding" and create a board with all the pictures you like. You can end up finding someone who seems to have the same ideas as you and follow them. Also the way I decided on my themes was I made differnt boards (so like a shabby chic one and a rustic one) then over time once you've built it up you can scroll through and suddenly you can imagine how that theme would be at your wedding. It's really been a life save for me as I wasn't fixed on anything in particular...not even a colour!

With your to do list, I'm again similar but have done a list of everything that needs doing and put deadlines to things. It seems a lot doesn't need doing until closer the time, but I've moved deadlines forward to make sure something gets done every month (trying not to cram it all in at the end although I'm sure it will happen but never mind). Again I know exactly how you feel because you get all the big things done and then then you want to keep going but nothing to do.

    Hope this helps! xxx
