Stressed to the max if I'm honest. Can't take it much longer! Ooh, shoes, at chance of a flash? I'm a shoeaholic

Sore and achy today - massive ironing pile yesterday has killed my back for a couple of days. House full of children who WILL be going to the park later while I take a good book and have a relax.

Anyway...otherwise...meh. It's overcast here, pretty sure it's gonna rain soon. My morning reports aren't in yet so I have a bit of time to kill til they appear.

I'm on a mission to focus on the positive today. Hence the shoes! I've just bought a pair of these beauties online (2nd hand). Not this colour - mine are more of a bronze / gold colour rather than black)

Can't wait to get them. Will see if I can get a pic of myself in today's heels as well (although not sure how given I'm at work... will have to think about this one without people thinking I'm even weirder than they already think!)

Work is crazy. We move in a month to a new building, the testing side of my job has gone mental, and I'm trying to deal with the increased pressures of the health and safety side at the same time. To top it off, we have quality auditors in at the moment and health and safety auditors are coming in a couple of weeks! I think I might explode soon. I also found out my pay isn't increasing at the same rate as other people I work with, meaning I should really just give up my H&S role and go back to the lab full time, but that's not what I want long term

I had those shoes! But I was being rather ambitious. I can't wear heels and these were like wearing shoes from hell. Eventually sold them on to a more suitable owner ...

They're lovely. I'm afraid they're actually not as high as the ones I've got on today. I am a shoe queen and heels rule! Lol! (Still not quite managed to take a pic of my feet / shoes in the office yet... I did have a go under the desk but it was just a bit odd!) I'll get something sorted I promise (I like a challenge!)

Wow! Those are some serious shoes for work. I'm wearing my scruffy old biker boots today. I do have a couple of pairs of boots with small heels but I couldn't be bothered even with those this morning.

I've got my slippers on lol but then I'm at home ?

I live in heels but in my flats today. Couldn't face the effort today!

I don't always wear heels like this for work - depends what mood I'm in. And this morning I decided I definitely needed "don't mess with this lady" shoes on...

Not great today! I'm really tired as I still haven't caught up on lost sleep from partying all weekend and then slept horribly last night on top of that as I was worrying about the state of my marriage! Fun times ☹️

I have those boots. SO comfy. My H bought them and the matching bag for my 25th Birthday. ?

Today, I am doing more gardening. Trying to get it looking half decent for my garden party in July. Will probably have to break up a few fights too. Standard half term antics with my boys.

I did a "airway management" workshop this morning, part of my compulsory training at work. Currently back at home, about to go for a couple of hours' nap before my nightshift! Weather was lovely this morning but seems to be clouding over so hopefully I won't miss too much.

Thanks chick, i'm getting used to it now.. we aren't getting any younger (both 41) had a miscarriage in july, and been wishing ever since... but gets easier each month... considering adoption, which is all good

Yesterday l was trying to sleep after a night shift. I then had to get up and get myself looking normal ready for a dinner thing in London -Mr Erin got a reward for a professional exam he did

Sorry have only just seen this. We've not gone down the counselling route yet but it's going to have to happen. I just hope it's not too late, we're living such separate lives I worry we're not going to make it back.
