Talk about venues, go see them and book them straight away!

Think about your theme/colours and get save the date cards made/ordered.

Book the registrar, photographer and start getting ideas together for budget and other big expenses..

Congratulations!!! As has already been said, do the big things first and worry about everything else later. Have a look at venues first as these get booked up very quickly. Our venue only had three Saturdays left next summer when we booked it in Feb. Once you've pencilled you're venue in check if the registrar can do it (if you're not having a church wedding). Other things to get booked pretty soon are photographer, flowers, hair/make-up person (if you're having one and cake - any one else that gets booked up on your day. Other things like themes/invites etc will come together as you go. I'd also highly recommend getting a pinterest account - someone one here recommended it to me and it's been invaluable for getting wedding ideas and seeing colours and themes come together!!

Don't worry too much though as you've still got lots of time and things will come together pretty quickly!
