Can't really make out what the prob is!

Is it a rip or a pull? or a dent?!

If the cushion cover comes off can you turn it inside out and mend it from the inside?

    Perhaps a little clearer?

the sewing has come undone, and the hole just getting bigger and bigger and looks awful. Trouble is its not our sofa it's the landladys!

we can't take it off as its stiched onto the back of the sofa Smiley sad

Surely that's just wear and tear and not your fault? Or did you rip it on something?

I know it might sound a bit silly, and other people may say it's a crazy idea (it may well be!) but have you thought about superglue? Just a tiny bit to close up the hole?

    Oh dear!

Surely that is wear and tear tho, if it is a fairly new sofa it should have warranty.

When I work in a car gargage we used a company to mend car seats and they were fantastic, maybe someone like this:

    Good luck!

Can you not just sew it up? With some strong thread and using a stitch to close it up?
