Some git has blocked me in.

We don't have a dropped curb but no-one in the street does. FIl and I have been out rocking the car and trying to open the doors to set the alarm up because I am due to pick Mr R up now. Looks like he is walking. Can't go door knocking as live across the road from two blocks of flats. ?

How annoying. I think the council may tow it away if you ring them- dropped curb or no dropped curb, they shouldn't be blocking you in. Someone here parked across someone's drive last week and the lady phoned up and had him towed away- cost him a fortune to get his car back.

I don' t think there is much you can do unless you have a dropped kerb

WSS. In fact, I'd heard some council had started going as far as putting bollards on non-dropped kerbs to stop people driving over them. They said they've dropped all the kerbs that are safe to do so, and the rest end up blocking the pavement / pull out unsafely. I'm not saying this is what you do, just that this is the view of some councils. You might get yourself in more bother by reporting.
