Dedicated September 2012

Some interesting beads and a vicar.

Didn't know how else to title this sorry.....

Firstly a bit of a plug for the lady doing my favours (wine charms) as she has just branched out into more wedding items.

And also strange story from my local paper about a Vicar who has a lawyer friend who commented on a rise in divorces in January. Which in my experience is quite true. He has set up "staying in love" classes and made his own website about how to have a wedding for £100 or less.

I've just looked at this Vicars site and think this is great, its so true! people can get so caught up in the who wedding planning and spending lots of money, me included...but who is it really for - I think if most of us are honest its because we want other people to have a really great time, we want our friends to think its the best reception they've been to or the the dress is the most amazing thing they have seen. Sometimes the real reason why two people are getting married can be forgotten. I've been to a wedding where people we invited to bring a dish and a bottle to the reception - it was held at the couples house and there was more food and drink than we knew what to do with - more importantly everyone had a great time. I sometimes wish I'd not started on this whole white wedding route...it's starting to seem a little bit tedious!
