Old/borrowed: Not sure on this one yet. My nan has some beautiful old jewellery so hoping I can use something of hers. She has terminal cancer though and could slip away at any moment, so I should really have a conversation with her sharpish. Mental note made!

New: Well everything else will be new!!

Blue: My OH is a mad Man City fan so will be having a garter made in the team colours(sky blue) and wearing matching knickers (which I've already spotted in a little boutique!!)

On this note, I think my side tiara has a blue crystal in it somewhere, although it's not being delivered for a couple of weeks.

Old - I've bought a vintage silver locket that I'm going to put a picture of my granddad in (who died 2 years ago) and probably attach it to my bouquet.

New - loads of things - dress, jewellery, hairpiece, shoes (2 pairs!), perfume.

    Blue - my garter

Borrowed - I am really struggling with this, as I've read it should be something from somebody who's been long married. I could used my Sixpence which my mum has lent me, but I don't want to double things up if possible. Is any one else thinking that you should have a separate item for each thing, or am I going too far with the old superstition!?!?

    I had:

Old and borrwed - My mam's antique watch

Blue - Earrings that were a gift from H a couple of years ago

New - was going to say it was one of the loads of new things I had on but then H surprised me with this on the wedding morning. Sapphires in the earrings and necklace are a much closer match in real life.
