Soo..how did the weddings from this weekend (17th-19th) go?!

Same here, I love seeing all the newly married threads on a Monday.

There must be some updates on FB or something!

Me too...I havent seen Hannah on here for a week or so and was wondering how her day went.

5 days for me...yippee!!!

Hannah is about.. I have her on FB.. there are already lots of wedding pics floating about on there. In fact I have 2 FB friends who got married on Saturday. It's weddings galore on my News Feed!

Ah thanks NikiST I dont have any hitchers on my FB but ive spoken to Hannah on here a few times and as my namesake (sp) I just wondered how her day went.

She's not a Hitcher but I went to a friend's wedding on Saturday. It did rain quite heavily at times but they managed to still get some outdoor photos. It was a lovely day. Very them. I made their wedding cake as a present for them - little did I know when I opened my mouth that they would want such a huge cake with such intricate models on the top!

We did it this weekend!! Our wedding was wonderful! The weather didn't spoil it at all, although it was a shame we couldn't have the reception drinks on the lawn instead of under the canopied area of the marquee. It was sunny all morning-no rain. And then as soon as I was about to set off up the red carpet, it rained! We waited for a break in the weather, and luckily it stopped for half an hour. My bridesmaids went first up the aisle and then my dad and I followed...Our ceremony was outside in a thatched gazebo over a beautiful lake, and the sun came out for our vows..it was lovely. It started raining again as we left the gazebo and umbrellas were waiting for us to get to the gazebo for reception drinks and canapés. Once we were all under the marquee, the heavens opened! And the lightning went a few times! But then we had more sun-especially for the photos, which was fab. All the photos I have seen are with the sun shining down on us...you would never know. I will do a proper report when I'm back from honeymoon-I'm off to the maldives tomorrow! Our day was lovely though, and seeing as we were getting married outside, we didn't let it spoil the day. We think we were lucky with the weather we did have. We got some sun. I know Friday was a complete nightmare with the rain. I'll try and put a flash on here but I can't seem to work out how to do it from an iPad...anyone know? X

I am indeed about! But ill atm so trying to just chill out. It was a fantastic day, but it did rain at the church which was annoying but it didnt spoil anything as we had all our photos done at the reception instead! Will do my report later on when im feeling better and not literally coughing my lungs up . I was ill on my wedding day too but it was all good in the hood! had NO voice the day after!! . xx
