Another "What does this mean in your area?"

And no looking on Urban Dictionary, (Maz!) cos it's not in there! (Well not the meaning I mean anyway!)

Another one Meems knows. You can take the girl out of Lancashire...

    Boooooo.

Erm...is it some kind of freaky bakery product? It sounds like a pastry/potato/savoury baked good type thing?
Probably eaten with mushy peas ?

    a sparrow

    or,

    female genitalia.

    Yay, or nay?

    Edited for awful spelling/grammar!

Petal, that's made me laugh out loud!

"In a randomised crossover trial against placebo, and also in a retrospective study and meta-analysis, spadgers were shown to be 23% more nesh than baps."?

Is it a term of affection perhaps?

    You big spadger? Like softy?

    Or maybe

Does my spadger look big in this?

    Or

I'll show you my spadger if you show me yours...?

Bingo! It's an old Lancs word which I suppose is derived from sparrow, meaning little thing - it a term of affection my Grandad called me when I was a kid and for some reason T was always The Spadger!

That old thread of mine has made me smile! How time flies! And how I was utterly CRAPPING myself when I posted it!?
