speaking of outside weddings.....

Can you get married outside at your chosen venue or does it need a special licence?

Our venue has a stunning wooden gazebo in the grounds and ive always thought it was pretty but felt a bit stupid asking if we could get married under it? x

I think each building or room has to have licence, although someone else might understand it better than me.

You should ask them though, Im sure you wont be the first person to ask the question - you dont have anything to lose

Kerry's right - the gazebo would need to have a licence. Just ask the venue, if it isn't licensed perhaps they'd be prepared to do it, maybe if you contributed towards the cost of the licence fee.

If its not licensed you can always go down to a registry office and do the legal bit before and just have a ceremony under the gazebo, then it doesn't need a license.
