Of those two performances, I preferred Ruth. Laura was all over the place, trying to be clever - and sounding stupid as a result.

Actually, I'm really p-d off, I think Laura is a far more talented singer then Ruth, Daniel, JLS and Rachel. Hmph, this program is getting on my nerves.

I'm getting really naffed off now with this, 2 weeks on the run it stinks of the judges getting rid of good acts so their's will do better. The sooner they stop the judges having the last say the better.

Personally I don't believe it would make any difference at all to how fair the show is, but I bet some people would feel there was a conspiracy going on?

Sorry I have been lurking all night but aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh this programme has really got on my tits and I couldn't agree more Ruby. Fecking idiot Louis just says what he has to say and the programme is getting so messed up that I'm beginning to think there isn't any point watching now. I don't believe the public vote at all. Louis didn't NEED to pick at all because he has sent it to deadlock before.

I don't think the public vote can be trusted either. I think it would be better if each judge didn't have groups and just voted on who they thought was the best. The way it is on strictly come dancing.

I also have another conspiracy theory that Alexandria will not win! I think she is without doubt THE one with the X-Factor but I really cannot see her being allowed to win as she is too much Leona and therefore would be direct competition for her.

With regards the voting I think once the final two have been announced, they should reopen the phone lines for the 2 contestants for ten minutes while the guest singer sings etc, and then the public get the final say and the judges can't use the vote for pettiness or to get rid of the competition.

Actually I think the right person went. I liked Laura to begin with, but she has got far too warbly for my liking.

I don't vote, so I really can't complain about who is in the bottom, everyone has different tastes, even when I really don't agree with it (Leon last year) lol

Mr Orly once had an idea that I liked. Have a talent show (like X-Factor) where the judges have the final say on who stays & who goes. The twist is, that the public vote for the judges they want to stay, rather than voting directly for the acts.

I like Louis, I think he is funny(if annoying at times) and he can hardly be blamed for the public not voting for the best singers in the competition, and someone has to go. Even if it had gone to deadlock, I think Laura would have gone since Simon has been picking on her the last few weeks and the public listens to him...except for in Daniels case!

I didn't want Laura OR Ruth in the bottom two and dont know who the hell is voting for Rachel and Daniel!? I cant stand Rachel..she is just vile.

I agree with you there NightOwl, though I suspect it will be Alexandra and JLS in the final (not a bad thing but i'd still rather have Diana).

My H is convinced that now the voting has gone silly it will be Rachel and Daniel in the final!

BTW Unless it is a double eviction one week there should be 3 in the final, because as Christmas falls so late in the week, they will need to have the final on Sat 13th December to get the single out in time for Christmas number one, December 21st (yes I am sad, I think about it way too much)

My husband is not a big fan of the X Factor but even he shouts at the TV every time Rachel speaks!
