I've never seen an episode of ST before but am married to a sci-fi geek so went. I totally loved it. Great fight scenes and very, very funny. My totally favourite quote "Hi Christopher. I'm Nero" ?

Great film. Great visuals.

Plot has more holes than a Swiss Cheese.

My H is a massive sci fi fan and he went last night (having driven 100 miles and a 5 hour boat ride to get to the cinema!).. He thought was ok, that the film runner for it was more impressive than the film itself and he was bitterly disappointed at the warp room.. it was a mess of pipes and not a core or something like that???? he's on his way home just now so no doubt I will hear about it when he gets in, I feel quite sorry for him, he was so excited.

H and hos mate are going to see it at our Imex in 3d on Thursday. Not my thing, but he's really looking forward to it

I went to see on Saturday with my kids. We all loved it, however I did think the actor playing Dr McCoy was trying too hard to be like the original charactor instead of putting his own spin on it.
