Started my favour making

soontobenew, 9 December, 2012 at 17:49 Posted on Planning 0 6

Now i'm not a craft/creative sort of person - I'm generally envious of all the cool things i see people have made themselves on here (i saw a fabulous button bouquet the other day - AMAZING) so you lot are all responsible for my determination to make my own favours - well must do something!!

We've decided to make sauces/jams for each table as each table will be a country we have visited, so as it takes 6 months to mature I've started with the Lime pickle for the India table. Here's a few flashes below - (they will get decanted into the proper jars after the limes have finished salting)

I cannot even begin to say how much I love lime pickle. I love it. Love. It.

Have toyed with making some - easy looking recipe?

    What themes on other tables?

    Love this idea!

Although I would probably have major favour envy if I was a guest at your wedding, I would want one of each of the different types from every table!!

Well done you. They are going to be amazing. Would it be wrong going around the tables after, to see if anyone had left theirs ?

Ha ha maybe i should put on the back - feel free to swap if you don't like me!!

I love lime pickle as well so anything left over will happily go in my cupboard.

Recipe is easy but takes time, i got it from a site called curry frenzy I think. Was thinking of maybe some sweet chilli sauce for the vietnam or cambodia table, Chimichurri for the Argentina table, err and then i better get thinking for the other tables . . .

Sounds amazing! I love the fact you are doing it for different tables for themes.

    What are your other countries?

I wish I was the creative type!
