UnionJackDream, 7 May, 2012 at 20:06 Posted on Planning 0 7

I have just realised I missed my 5 month milestone yesterday and now I am panicking. I have been so busy with work(had a visit from HRH The Queen) and its only going to get worse (organising the Olympic torch plus an evening celebration event in my County) so I am panicking now things aren't on target. If I list what I have got please will you help me see what else I need to do to see how far behind I am??

Wedding Dress plus shoes, accessories and underware

Mens Suits plus Cravats (just need to buy shirts)

Bridesmaid dresses but no shoes

Church (no order of service yet)

Photographer

Venue - food

Cake

Mother of the bride outfit plus MIL outfit

Flowers

Dj

Rings

Invites

Table decs

Gifts

Favors plus boxes

What have I missed? Please help !!????!!!!????!!!!

Xxxxxxx

Deeeep breaths, Mrs Shep! Smiley smile

The other ladies have done a great job of filling in the gaps, so I'll focus on priority. If I were in your shoes, I'd get these sorted first:

    Photographer

    Venue - food

    Church

    DJ

    Flowers

    Good luck! x

I think these are the things Mrs Shep has already got organised!

You're doing fine Mrs Shep! Think Dabbot covered most of it...a postbox? maybe if you're having one!

Don't panic!! I organised my whole wedding in 6 months, with one month off as I wasn't well, so 5 months is plenty for you. Just relax, take some deep breaths and spend one evening writing out the most detailed list you can think of with your OH. Then tick off everything you've done already (all the major things look sorted from your list) and work on everything else one thing at a time. Delegate some of the stuff to OH if you trust him!! You've got enough time so don't worry, it looks like you've got mainly finishing touches to do. Who's doing your hair and makeup? That might be the next thing to look at.

    Good luck!

ps hope you enjoyed your encounter with her maj!

Thank you so much ladies, I am just worried as July is going to be a complete write off for me with work (I wont even be at home for one week, OH not amused)

Anyone know where to buy shirts with cufflink gaps? Stuggling to get them cheap?

    xxxx
