Stationary

Hoping you girls might be able to help

I was thinking about making my own Save the Date cards, Invitations, table plans etc...as I thought it would be cheaper, I'm quite arty and I was everything to match my theme.

This is becoming a headache already. I want a design put together soon, so I could make Save the Dates to be sent out in August.

I don't have photoshop etc, only paint and word. Just wondered if anyone has used these to make their stationary

I'm looking for a fun, bright themed stationary, with Bunting! Our wedding has a summer fete/countryside theme

Any suggestions would be great x

I did plenty with word - just find some clip art or take your own photos. Do you have powerpoint? I find that more useful as the formatting is easier with pictures. As long as you're proficient with your programs nothing is impossible!

I'm not sure it's cheaper to DIY though, with HIBs and vistaprint being so cheap it's hardly worth the saving when you consider the time factor.

    Flashed mine yesterday: https://www.hitched.co.uk/Chat/forums/t/227020.aspx

Pageplus have a free software download of their starter edition. I use this to create greetings cards and things and it's really easy to use. Just google them to find it.

What about this free template? They have the matching invitations, RSVP cards, table numbers etc also.

Download from here, you can change the colours too: /save-the-dates/bunting-free-printable-save-the-date

I used Word and Paint to do our STD's which were mostly text and photos so no real graphics, but I'm sure it would be fairly easy to do a bunting theme in Word using the triangular shape? I downloaded a couple of free fonts from dafont.com too, to jazz them up a little.
