Stationary HIBS?

milna, 27 October, 2008 at 10:17 Posted on Planning 0 14

Having originally planned to make my own invites with the help of friends, I have now decided that life is too short and as time is passing swiftly and I have yet to be struck by inspiration or creative genius, its probably better just to buy them!

So, any stationary HIBS, please feel free to give website details so that I can have a browse! I am looking for Save The Date cards to go out at Xmas (I just abbreviated that to STD cards and realised it is probably best not to!), invitations to go out end of Feb/early march (without reply cards), and place names for the table - end of May. And if anyone has more sepcific suggestions, colour scheme is Teal/deep pink.

Thanks!

Good morning milna. If we can be of any help please feel free to have a look at our website on www.thehandcraftedcardcompany.co.uk or www.yourweddinginvitation.co.uk where you will find a range of handmade wedding stationery that can be coordinated to match with your colour scheme of teal/deep pink. Your timings seem fine and it sounds as though you have everything under control ! All the best. Andrew

Feel free to have a look at ours www.weddingparaphernalia.co.uk/wedding_stationery

What about something in this colour/pattern https://www.envelopments.com/images/content/colors/large/Caspian-KAL45.jpg

To be quite honest, although not knowing your exact wedding date (guessing beginning June) - I wouldn't worry about save the date cards - save yourself some money and buy an excursion on honeymoon instead. Save the date cards are for sending out one to two years before the wedding.

Invitations should be sent out three months beforehand - send them out a little earlier if you so wish.

STD is never a good abbreviation!!!

My website is www.carnegielivettdesigns.co.uk - there are a few ideas in the gallery (which is a bit slow to load but I'm working on getting my techy guy to sort it out!) but I also do totally bespoke as well ....

    Happy browsing!

    Hi there

Have a look at www.wedding-calligrapher.com. Claire can also do bespoke designs if there's something in particular you're after.

    Hope that helps

I'm not a HIB but I though you might be interested to look at the company I have decided to order my stationery from.

I have already ordered my save the date cards (but my wedding is not as close as yours) and I've booked production space in their diary for end of June / early July.

Like you I was going to make my own invites but things are just so busy at work (people have been made redundant and we're expected to do the same amount of work with half the number of people) I'm just pooped when I get home.

I have chosen the photographic design and I am personalising it with a photograph of me and h2b.
