    Hi mimi

It's called Mulberry Paper and you just tear it to make the ruffled edges. Some people find that if you dampen the edges it tears better, but when you do tear it you can sort of pull the fibres out a bit as you do it you should get a fluffy edge.

    Hi Mimi,

Prettywild has it spot on !

We have a wide range of decorative mulberry papers that can be used in a variety of wedding stationery applications. A little bit of mulberry paper will go a long way and is great to accent a layout and gives a nice dimension and texture. You can also use a paint brush to paint a line of water to then tear along - this is great for wavy lines and other shapes. If you have a thicker bit of fibre along the tear line you can cut this with some craft scissors. You can also stamp onto mulberry paper, the metallic pigment inks working particularly well. Hope all goes well !
