STBCers, the Kleek & the Hatfield Kleek

Pikasue, 17 July, 2009 at 13:04 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 24

I am back from NY tonight for 3 weeks - would be great to see you all - anyone fancy an impromptu meet(s)? Cannot get onto facebook (wretched IT staff here have a tougher firewall!) but I'll be in touch asap.

Its was v sudden Boop - I have been here for just over 5 weeks now - back to Ldn for three (during which time I am off to Dubai as there is a crisis in the middle east - how James Bond!) then back here for another 5 weeks.....all jolly good fun if you ignore the 75 hour weeks and the fact that I have owned my new horse (yes more news) for 40 days and been in the same country as him for 1!

We shall find another time that works for all - its been too long.

Sorry sunset - since the credit crunch hit last year my life has been nothing but work work work and posting became really hard - but I am alive, well and enjoying the mean streets of New York where I am on secondment for an undisclosed period of time.

On other news - I sold the boy, had a lovely girl on loan whilst I hunted for the new perfect horse, found him, he arrived on 6 June, on 7 June I moved here - timing has never been my strong point.

Thats it really - oh and I had all my hair cut off and lost shed of weight (which I've now put back on again snce living here)....I went to Oz for 3 weeks over christmas & new year, gutted and rebuilt my kitchen and bought a new horse-lorry......the last 12 months in a nut shell!

Him and MrNuts could meet up and have beer dinners instead? I'm sure he's living on frozen potato products!

Not overly free over the next three weeks. Can do next Friday and maybe Sat night, that may well be it!

"local thing for local people" ? - how provincial are we?

But of course would love to see you. It is a bit of shocker to me, but I actually already have plans next Friday - look at me neglecting the bahbey already. So Friday's out and I may be shot if I suggest I go out on the Saturday also.... is the next weekend no good for you J?

I am not sure how you deal living in a small provincial place like New York after the heights and high times that Hatfield can offer.

Peter(who knows Hatfield well.....well, more than New York!!!)
