Sticker Printing?

*Mini*, 10 July, 2011 at 12:27 Posted on Planning 0 9

Does anyone know where I could get stickers printed for my place names? I need 61 diffirent stickers and all of the websites I can find will happily print you a whole page of the same one but not diffirent ones. Likewise when I have a play on Word I can get an option to print a sheet of the same name but not diffirent ones.

Any ideas Hitchers?

Are you having just the names or something else on them as well i.e an image? If you are having an image then you could do the page with the image on and then go in and add the names.

Or alternatively do a page with all one name and then go in an edit them to the names you want. Sounds a bit long winded but only thing I can think of

Try downloading a sticker template for Word off the Avery website. I used them years ago to make address labels, although they were all the same. I can't remember if you could make each one differentm but it's worth a try. If it works you can buy sticker sheets off them and they will print in the right place with the template.

One of my friends has a sticker business, he's really good at doing a couple of one, few of another etc and he's also really good at designing things. Here's his website, he predominantly does mini related things, but he's branched out in to loads of other areas.

If you have a whole load to do, you could mail merge from an excel file. Just have a column with each of the entries that you want (the first row being 'name' or whatever as a header) and then in Word just choose the label mail merge option (with the correct label size) and insert your merge field ('name' or whatever you decided) to wherever on the label you want it... you can preview before you finalise and 'see individual documents'

we're doing this for our invites, and takes 20 seconds once you figure it out (its easy, promise!)

This sounds difficult! I will give that a whirl later and report back. I Knew there had to be a way to do, just needed a clever person to come along and tell me how!!

Lol, yes, I do. Same here, that's how I know Martin!

Like I said earlier, whilst he started out with mini stuff, he actually will do almost anything, just send him a message and he'll say whether he can do it and will price it up.

As he's not a massive business, he's really good at doing one offs.

EDIT - oops, just looked at his site, silly man hasn't updated in about a year or so... Let me know if you'd like a quote from him and I'll get in touch with him.
