Sticky space bar help please

D chucked pepsi all over my laptop yesterday. Luckily it wasn't much and I got it quickly with a teatowel and baby wipes but now the space bar is sticking so it doesn't spring back like the other keys and it's annoying me.

Is there something I can do? Will it improve over time? Is it busted?

    Can't help sorry - although have you tried using a damp cotton bud around it?

    Do you know whether your laptop keyboard has a catch on the top which lifts it off? My old laptop did and you were able to clean under really easily. If it doesn't I'm not sure what you can do about it, it may be worth going to a repair center and seeing what they make of it if it's really bugging you.
