Photographer is based in the North West.

What's up with togs just lately? ?

Can you remove the name of the tog as it is outside of Hitched Rules.?

I agree. If it was a fact that the tog had not provided photos, then surely this is not libellous?

You're right, it's not. I suspect that Hitched are keen to avoid anything too close to the mark, although I'd argue what the OP didn't fall foul of the rules.

Oh my word, I really feel for you, that is awful. We are just getting all our photos on disc and then creating our own storybook album online, couldnt you do that from your photos?

Going by that definition - I saw no foul of the rules in the OP.

I would assume OP that you have already paid for this album in your package?

Sorry to hear about this but hope you can get some recompense for what's happened. Have you tried Trading Standards?

Just out of interest referring to the 'rules' - I complained to Hitched about 4 months ago regarding a comment someone made on here about me which I considered to be insulting and abusive remarks, albeit the poster didn't actually name me but quite a few people on Hitched knew of the situation that the remarks referred to so therefore knew that this person was referring to me. I asked for the post to be deleted as the remarks that were said were totally untrue (not a customer by the way but another HIB) I didn't get a reply and the post wasn't deleted. So does someone have to physically name you for the post to be deleted just to clarify..?

That sucks. Is there a chance you can pay the company that prints it the money and they send it directly to you if they have the design?

Sorry about the delay, I have been at work and not able to get back on here.

Unfortunately the company are unable to print them as they are still copyright protected by the photographer. The manager of the printing company was in meetings with the legal team on wednesday too see if they could sort something out for us.

Did your contract give you Licence to Print?

Our photographer retains the copyright but our contract states that we have licence to print - i.e. we can use the photos in our own albums, wall prints etc.

The printing company are between a rock and a hard place on this. Even if you have a "licence to print" the album design wont be covered by it

Surely that depends who did the design?

If this doesn't get sorted for you and you have a number of friends/family shots that you like, but maybe need a little "photoshopping" let me know, I'll see wht I can do for you...
