Really strange thing just happened - one of my friends who is coming on my hen weekend next Friday just pulled out by text saying she can't come because she has uni until 5pm. This has been arranged since like April and she has shelled out £100 for a flight and £150 for the weekend all of which is nonrefundable.

When I text her back I said what about the money and she said not to worry about that. Don't you think its a bit odd? There's being consciencious (sp?) but surely you would just finish classes a little bit earlier. Our flight isn't until 4.55pm so she wouldn't need to leave uni til 3.

And she hasn't even told Tahdah who has been organising everything! I had to tell her.

Am I right to be suss or should I just chill out?!

I cant see someone losing that amount of money for 2hours classes? are you sure there could be no other reason. fell out with someone whos going on the trip or something? ill come instead lol. seriously could someone not take her place seems such a waste...

What type of class does she have till 5pm? If she had an exam she would not be able to leave early.

Wooaaaa - a student whos shelled out 200 bucks AND not going to take the opportunity to 'get away from it all!' ??? yuppers, something is def up, hon! Wish I could tell ya what it was tho....

Organiser here!!

She hasn't even told me yet, Pingu told me earlier...all very strange. Luckily you don't really need an even number of girls with what's planned. I've already said what if it was her hen night, would she pull out then? I'm sure if she spoke nicely to her uni people they'd let her leave a tad early...

Harumph is all I can say. She's only just started (so not an exam) so it may be that she doesn't want to miss important starting stuff......but come 'on the flight is at 455pm so she would have to at the airport at 355 and leave uni and 3pm to get to the airport! I'm working until 2.30pm......Surely you can catch up.

Anyway not gonna stew. Just a bit gutted that she is losing all that cash....I don't really have anyone else left to ask......I'm blessed with lots of luffly friends who do wanna come!
