Strange request from photographer?

I had this too, from a photographer and a band! They were like sorry can't do that date but I have this date available instead, great yeah let me rearrange my whole wedding around your diary!

Dream venue maybe, but photographer or band? They'd have to be pretty awesome!

It was written really formally! I know apparently they worked for the BBC in the past or something... but I'm not that fussed, I just thought they had nice pictures! x

I believe that I know who you are referring to.....and people have changed their wedding dates to get this photographer. IIRC, it was a husband and wife team. Quite a lot of money for this tog though if it was this one......

I have had it the other way, but slightly earlier in the planning process.. a bride came to me with 3 dates to check my availability, and then booked the venue to match the slot I had free

There is a difference between a couple prioritising what's important, and the vendor attempting to do it

I actually would have moved the date to accommodate our TOG but only because we love our TOG and could be flexible on date so we were syncing our date around TOG, Venue and registrar.

I had this happen funkyjameseo. I photographed a couples baby and when they tried to book me for their wedding, I was already booked for their day. So they moved it and are now getting married in Ibiza and I'm going with them! Can't wait.

Saying that, they hadn't got a lot booked, only the dress and venue I think so they are now using the same venue for their party when they get back.

Thats fine, and I totally understand that... but I was just shocked that it was the photographer that asked me to, rather than me choosing to (I haven't changed the date btw) x

You can always book me, I don't mind if I was second choice - lol
