strange wedding dream!

thefuturemrsclarke, 5 July, 2010 at 07:13 Posted on Planning 0 7

I dreamt hat at my wedding reception i was sitting in a corner chatting to a couple of friends, and then i fell asleep. i woke up for 1 last dance at the end but never got to speak to any of the other guests. i was begging the venue to let it go on longer but they were saying that it had gone on long enough and if i hadnt of fallen asleep i coulda seen it all.

lol. with just under 2 weeks to go i really do hope this isnt going to become a regular occurance.

Oh dear, just make sure you have a deal with a bridesmaid that if you fall asleep that they poke you and bring coffee! (I had a dream where my dress got lost on the plane... we now have a plan that my bridesmaid has to buy me one as she comes out a few days later!)

Lol just have a strong coffee or something with the meal!

I keep having a recurring dream/nightmare that we go along to the venue one day, and they say to us that we must have our wedding there and then. I protest and say it is not until October but they insist, and I end up having to get married that day without my dress, guests, hair a mess...must be going mad lol.

At the weekend I dreamt I had made a fascinator/hat thing and had posted pictures of it here. Puurfect Gems was so impressed she suggested I could go into millenery (sp) work for a living instead of teaching........... I think I briefly considered it! Alas, apart from my own going away one which was nowt special, I've never made one in my life..

I wouldn't worry about it. It is just your mind drawing random happenings from the day into a bizarre series of events. They will stop as soon as the wedding is over, at least, they will stop being about the wedding at any rate. ?

Trust me, there is NO WAY you will be falling asleep!

I was up until 4am that the following morning - despite having about 10 hours sleep in total, the week leading up to the wedding.

    Enjoy it!! xxx

Ahhh you poor thing - wedding anxiety dreams are in full force at my house too (OH even had his first last month - I've been having them for months!) Mine are mainly dress related - that it hasn't come in time or they've made it wrong...something that still really scares me when I'm awake as it has been delayed twice in being shipped from Spain and still isn't here!

But I think yours with falling asleep is about missing out on the day as we are all told how fast it will go aren't we and to take everything in? Oh the pressure! I've had one quite similar but instead of falling asleep I got majorly drunk and couldn't remember anything!

Hope you get some restful nights over the next couple of weeks! x

I had my first wedding dream the other day too, it was the morning of the wedding and the venue hadn't decorated the ceremony table, the table plan hadn't been done and i was rushing around sorting these i was late for everything.

My OH has convinced me that it means that the opposite is going to happen??
