Stressed out!! Sorry for the rant. xx

Yorkbridetobe, 24 November, 2010 at 11:50 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 3

I have just started a job a week ago today, only working part time as a cleaner. AND I HATE IT!! It's so hard and I am so behind on my work compare to everyone else I start early and finish late because I am struggling I have told my manager about it and she just shouts in my face. :o(

It's also causing problems within the relationship. I know I could look for another job and I am doing but there isn't anything, I hate the way me and my partner are towards each other at the moment and it's only been since I got this job. :o( Highly annoyed/stressed and angry isn't the word.

No need to reply just needed to vent. xx

Sorry to hear that your job is affecting your relationship.

Your manager shouldn't just shout in your face, what exactly have you said to her? What is making the job so hard?

I think it's because we aren't spending as much time as we used to together. He works nights and I work early-late evenings. So we get maybe a couple of hours together.

I haven't said anything to her as I don't want to lose my job, everything in the job is hard I have two floors to clean in a school and the classroom are filthy and because I am miles behind everyone else I am getting shouted at. xx

Make sure that those few hours are well spent then ? Have dinner together, have a snuggle on the sofa - make sure that you are with each other though, not watching tv on your own or doing the washing/ironing/cleaning - that can be done when one of you is out.

You won't lose your job if what they are asking you to do is unreasonable. If you are working as hard as you can and still can't finish the job then something is wrong.
