Struggling to find a reasonable dj! Midlands...

Hi all,

I am having problems finding a dj for our wedding on June 6 at Patshull, near Wolverhampton.

Any reccommendations?

    A lot of local radio DJ's/presenters do wedding/party disco's as a bit of extra cash (as radio pay is crap), you could phone a couple of your local stations...not the live line but the reception and ask if any do this. Most presenters are freelance so every little bit helps, and they'll also have great music.

    Try the wedding dj association... www.weddingdja.co.uk

    All members have to reach a certain criteria and abide by a code of ethics....so you know you're getting a professional. Only one in ten DJs that apply get accepted!

    All you have to do is fill in the enquiry form and the guys closest to you will contact you directly.

    We're having:

    www.davedeediscos.co.uk. He's the preferred supplier for our venue so comes recommended.

    our wedding's in stoke but that's not too far from wolverhampton. Its costing 325 I think for 3 hours which isn't too bad?

    I've met Dave....good choice....and £325 is a good price for a professional for 3 hours.

    Dave dee is very good if a tad expensive imo

    we had the midnight rider at ours he was fab cost £180 for 4.5 hours Smiley smile hes based in stafford not to far away Smiley smile

    Millineum sounds are very good,

    he is based in leicestershire but he does travel

    Getting married at caverswall castle. www.caverswall-castle.co.uk. It;s not cheap, but it's beautiful!
