Struggling with table names....

Do you have a theme? Whats you & OH's hobbies or things you really both love?
Me & OH are big music lovers so we'd probably have band or songs names or something but were having a u shaped table so a bit gutted we can't have names lol x

We're having dates as table "names"

like "3rd June" our sons bday.

Got ones like first date, moved in together got engaged. Stuff like that.

OH and I are going to have places on the monopoly board. Then use a board as a table plan somehow.

When we were younger we went through a little phase of playing it a lot and collecting the special edition ones so it has a little meaning for us.

We had our favourite films on a Love theme.

Our table was the greatest movie in the world: True Romance!!!

I like place names, quotes from literature, favourite foods/flowers/birds, colours... Loads, I'm easily pleased.

We just had numbers..

We had the names of sunflower species as those were the flowers we used for decorations and bouquets.

We are having WW2 planes

We had airports that we had flown into/out of together as a couple. We had a few lines about each one under it and that helped get people chatting as we also tried to put people at airports that they'd be familiar with also!

Ours were after famous couples i.e: romeo & Juliet , Kermit & miss piggy, homer & marge, jack & vera duckworth etc

OH is a massive music fan and mixes as a hobby so table names will be named after genres

We had cheeky Real Ale names for ours :0)

I have left that to OH decide as continually trying to make sure he is involved - plus it takes the pressure of you!

I let OH take control and put his mark on our wedding, he's named ours after his favourite golfers as he's a big golfer. He's had his mark on every part of our day now. Xxx

Oh did ours too - he's an aeronautical engineer but we wanted something that represented us both so airports was best as we had travelled so much together. Doing airplanes or aero related stuff would have been a bit too nerdy!

Here's a cheeky flash of one of ours! We used the flight number on the left hand side in a luggage tag style with the aerport reference (PER for Perth).

We had names of biscuits!

Hobnob, Jaffa Cake, Party Ring etc. We bought lever closing jars and put mini versions of the biscuits in them all labelled up and pretty in the centre of each table. They went down well!

We got engaged in Edinburgh so named them after places we visited the day we got engaged such as Edinburgh Castle, St Giles Cathedral etc

OH named ours too! We are having British naval ships as OH is a naval architect and picked navy as his colour in our theme (mine is yellow which ties in nicely with out accidental Easter date!) which means we could name our cake table after his late fathers ship he commanded and use his ceremonial sword for cake cutting.

Ours are local beach names that we go to regularly, we are having a loose coastal theme throughout.

Haha, h2b has chosen ours too - superheroes! Although I'm trying to insist we have at least one female superhero on there, I refuse to have a sexist wedding!

Can anyone think of a female superhero except for Wonderwoman and Catwoman?

OP, choose something that's personal to you or h2b, it's the little touches like that which people remember about weddings. The date one is a lovely idea though, if you don't have any specific hobbies/interests that could be used.
