Stupidly excited

Ginger, 28 July, 2009 at 15:15 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 14

I have my 'nearing 40' (or midlife crisis) car.

I have had lease cars through work for the past 14 years, the lease deals are now a complete joke, so i now have my very own shiny roof down car sitting on my drive.

So dear Hitchers, you can now all expect rain for the forseeable future.

Nooo, black looks lovely but is hideous to keep clean. Ginge has picked a good colour there for not having to clean it every week.

Oooo fabbity fab. I remember seeing a preview/concept car version of these at the motor show a few years ago and thinking how cool it looked.

Enjoy, lets hope the summer weather bucks its ideas up sufficiently for you to be swanning around with the top down, shades on enjoying the sunshine eh! ?

Oh is it? I've not got my own car yet but I thought black would disguise the dirt a bit. What about dark grey? If I ever get a car instead of using the OH's I'm going to want one that I can leave for a looong time between cleans?. It won't be as nice as Ginger's though.

Well my sis used to have a black VW Polo and it showed all the marks/scratches/dirt etc.

Not sure about dark grey. Best colour car i've ever had for not showing the dirt was an electric blue metallic.
