suck it in pants.....

Tilly Floss, 1 July, 2009 at 15:09 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

I bought some spanx - tried them on and they were clearly too big, returned them to exchange (they'd only been tried over other knickers) but JL didn't have the size and colour combination I wanted, assistant persuaded me to try Scala ones, which also claim to reduce cellulite. I bought the size which was comparable to the smaller spanx, but they still feel too big.

Don't get me wrong, I want to be comfortable, but surely I should feel a bit, well, sucked in........

Or is the anticellulite claim the only "sucker" here?

I agree - I def feel sucked in by my Spanx!

Maybe you don't really need them after all?

Then have you tried the M&S ones? A frined swears by them (they jsut weren't right for me)

TK Maxx often have them in too (but as per everything in there the sizes are a bit random)

They should definitely feel tight (based on my Spanx experiences - I lived in them until the baby weight shifted)

I wouldn't go with the M&S ones, unlike Spanx they are polysetery and not cotton so they get really hot and sweaty (and don't seem to be cut as well either so you get a not very natural looking suck in)

No chance of getting JLs to order you some in the right size ?

I bought some v cheap from Debenhams, and they definitely feel tight. Can't see how they'd work otherwise.
