Thats awful i certainly wouldnt trust the guy to turn up on the day!!!! You could try the guy we have booked, we are in the midlands too only about half hour away from notts. His name is David Finch website is www.davidfinchphotography.co.uk We have met him a few times, his prices are very reasonable, you get him for as long as you want and all the pics he takes on cd so no expensive reprint fees.

Obviously i cant say what his pics are like as our wedding isnt till New Years Eve but his portfolio looks good and he was a recomendation to us (by my oh's ex wife who had him 4 her wedding incidently)

Ah thank you I'll give him a ring and find out about prices/availability. I think it's always better to use someone who's been recommended if possible.
