Suit hire recs..

ashmegdj, 10 April, 2008 at 12:46 Posted on Planning 0 12

Where is everyone hiring the suits from?

Any good or bad experiences?

Most people I know have used someone local but they're not there anymore. Would ideally like someone nationwide so FIL2B can get measured where he lives.

TIA

We're with Moss Bros. Have people going to five different stores and so far so good.

Formally Yours (online only) are supposed to be good.

Debenhams also do suit hire at a reasonable price.

We're going with Youngs - part of Suits You. It had the biggest choice of waistcoats and the groom gets his suit free. They also threw in free insurance so it worked out at £65 per suit and we could pick up 10 days before the wedding.

We are going with formally yours, the service we have had from them is exceptional. And thier free colour swatch service was fantastic. They send you a booklet with all the fabric samples inside making it really easy to match up your theme.
I would recommend them to anyone

    Hiya!

I think we are getting ours from Burtons. Good prices and range and they have shops everywhere as we need 6 different locations ?

    Anyone else going with BURTONS?

Greenwoods Menswear. They usually have good offers on.

I got mine from there but my Mum is in charge of that department anyway. They have lots of shops up and down the country and there's some lovely ones to choose from.

If you haven't done it yet, don't!
h2b used to work for them and he refused point blank to even consider going to them. He saw so many orders fcuked up that he wouldn't risk it.

Plenty of others are countrywide - Moss Bros, Debenhams, an online one like Formally Yours. We have people going to London, Ipswich, Daventry, Leeds and Glasgow and we went with Moss Bros.

Thumbs up from me from Formally Yours - I used them in November and the suits were the best quality out of all the other high suit hirers and the service exceptional!

And the price was great too!

I have orders booked for people from Birmingham, Manchester and Gateshead (and more all over UK, just can't think of them all right now).

It is a pain to have to travel to London to sort everything out but alot of people seem willing to travel to us! ?
